No. The Club is designed for players who know the basic rules and can play through a game, even if strategy still feels uncertain. Complete beginners should start on the player Start Here page.
Do I have to attend live?
No. Monthly live sessions are recorded, and replays are added to the member library so you can learn on your own schedule.
How do the weekly games work?
Club games are played online on I Love Mahj. A separate paid I Love Mahj subscription is required; it is not included in the Confidence Club fee. Games give members regular opportunities to practice between in-person games and learn alongside the community.
Is the 2026 Strategy Edit included?
Yes. The current Club library includes the 2026 Strategy Edit along with the Skill Builder library, monthly challenges, videos, replays, and printable resources.
Which standalone guides are included?
Your membership includes Let’s Play Bundle, The Foundations Edit, The 2026 Strategy Edit, The Winds & Dragons Edit, The Decision Deck, 25 Days of Mahjong Magic, Teach Your Family to Play Mahjong, and the Skill Builder and Confidence Challenge modules. The partner-created Mahj-el-Tov Mastery Method is a separate purchase.
Are paid live classes included?
Monthly member live sessions and Q&A are included. Weekly live classes are not included. Separately advertised paid classes are separate purchases.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel anytime through your Circle billing area. Cancellation stops your next renewal, and membership access continues through the end of your current paid billing period. After that date, access to the Circle community, resource vault, replays, live sessions, and member benefits ends. Resources downloaded during an active membership may be retained for personal use. Previous membership payments are nonrefundable.
