This is a live online class on Siamese Mah Jongg, the two-player variation of American mahjong created by Gladys Grad. $100 per seat, taught over Zoom by Lara and Jillian Krohne of Mahj-el-tov. You learn how Siamese works, why it plays so differently from the standard four-player game, and how to think strategically across two hands at once. Great for anyone who wants more table time when they cannot get four players together. Taught by Lara Orndorff, OMM Certified American Mahjong Instructor and Mahj Life Guild member, alongside Jillian Krohne.

Created by Gladys Grad, Siamese is a two-player variation of American Mah Jongg where each player manages two racks, builds two hands simultaneously, and races to be the first to win both. It is strategic, fast, and genuinely fun.

Jillian from @mahjeltov is back, and we are going deeper this time. Two hours, start to finish: rules, setup, scoring, strategy, and hands-on practice so you leave ready to actually sit down and play. Whether you have never tried Siamese before or played once and had questions, this session covers all of it.

We will walk through the rules and setup, how to manage two hands at once, the scoring differences from standard American Mah Jongg, strategy for hand selection and tile commitment, and a hands-on practice round to pull it all together.
